ITS Virtual Academy and Training Analysis Survey

As we celebrate our 55th anniversary at ITS this year, it brings us great joy to share that we are expanding our products and services with the launch of the ITS Virtual Academy.

55 years is quite a celebration and one that we will be highlighting throughout the year. However, one thing that has stayed steady over the years at ITS is our ability to understand complex equipment and technologies and then successfully communicate the intricacies of this equipment in a variety of educational formats.

One of the popular formats ITS has been known for creating for hundreds of customers across all industries, is in the form of an e-learning course. For decades, ITS has developed courses and provided on-sight and on-floor training to employees on topics covering Safety, Operations, Electrical and Mechanical. 

Based on a case study for the NGA center for best practices, AMTEC (Automotive manufacturing technical education collaborative), the following has been cited: 

• Real-world curricula must be developed collaborative with the relevant industries so that sills being taught are precisely those that industry needs
• Workers must understand complicated processes and be able to predict, prevent, troubleshoot and solve problems in a high pressure environment
• The technical workplace is a fast paced environment in which mid-level employees must know how to function as individuals and as a team amid rapid technology changes, how to assess information and how to diagnose problems quickly, using problem solving and critical thinking skills to make split second judgment 
• Technical workers today must be the opposite of robots – flexible, creative, versatile. 

Our goal with the ITS Virtual Academy is to meet you where you’re at today and provide the training your workforce needs to get you to where you’re going.
